Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager who's primary focus will be supporting the Private Pricing Program for AWS, preparing and drafting executable contracts based on approved frameworks and to drive important strategic projects to support our Customers. You will join Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team housed within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization.This is an existing role under the Private Pricing Channel Services pillar of 3PX, a team conceived from the belief that many current and future AWS customers can realize more value from cloud by deepening their relationships with the AWS Private Pricing program.

Key job responsibilities
• Autonomously operate within established frameworks to manage multiple, complex contracting cycles at various stages
• Have highest standards and a bias for action to achieve deal velocity while exercising excellent judgement
• Take ownership of the contract process with internal and external stakeholders, such as Legal and Sales teams
• Identify, track and analyze key metrics to develop and recommend improvements
• Own and deliver results on strategic programs/projects for improvements and scale for Customers in the contracting space

Qualifications
- 5+ years drafting and negotiating contracts in a tech/IT organization- 3+ years leading projects/programs, influencing internal and external stakeholders with executive level written and verbal communication
- 3+ years using data and metrics to influence business recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Extended Qualifications
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts in a tech sales environment- Experience working for a cloud computing organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
