As a Multimedia Content Creator & Editor, you will execute content creation and community-building initiatives across social media platforms and owned internal communications channels for our worldwide Operations employees. The right person is passionate about building and engaging communities and can create high-visibility communications efficiently. You're creative, detail-oriented, and can educate and inform though short-form content. Experience with publishing content to large audiences on digital or social media platforms is helpful
Key job responsibilities
• Execute day-to-day community engagement and moderation across social media platforms.
• Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and campaign managers to align on editorial beats and shared goals.
• Source, create, and publish timely multimedia content across social media platforms and owned internal communications channels designed to educate, build awareness for signature benefits, and celebrate our peculiar culture with frontline employees.
• Contribute to developing creative ways to activate and grow our audience on social media, including, but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Regularly track, analyze, and report on progress against goals, content, and overall program health for team business reviews and reports.
• Contribute feedback and ideas for improvement for existing production flows for social media, campaigns, and communications.
• Escalate issues and complaints to designated leadership.

You will bring Amazon's employee stories to life through short-form content that's rooted in culture, creativity, and the social zeitgeist. From crafting a meme that lands to editing a Reel that drives real engagement, you'll produce content across social media platforms and owned internal communications channels that meets employees where they are — and keeps them coming back. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to shape editorial strategy, stay ahead of platform trends, and help build a community that reflects the best of Amazon's Operations culture.
About the team
Operations Internal Communications is a team of 100+ communicators across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Middle East/ Africa, sharing news updates, need-to-know information, and pride-building storytelling with more than 1.5 million Amazon Operations employees across the world.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience in a marketing role
Extended Qualifications
- Demonstrated success managing multiple deliverables at one time to meet aggressive deadlines.- Experience contributing to editorial strategy and execution working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with multiple forms of content creation, including video and infographics, in a unique, short-form, and culturally interesting way.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Canva or other photo and video editing solutions.
- Experience using the latest social media management/monitoring/analysis tools and platforms, experience with Sprinklr preferred, but other social media management tools are acceptable.
- Experience working virtually with teams around the globe, as well as external production partners.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
