Description
Amazon is looking for a driven and experienced Communications Manager to join its Stores Communications team supporting the Delivery Experience. This role will lead proactive storytelling and strategic communications programs in support of Amazon’s fast delivery speeds. This role can be based in Seattle, WA, or Arlington, VA.Key job responsibilities
- Build and lead proactive strategic communications plans and campaigns to support Amazon’s delivery experience narratives.
- Deliver earned, owned, and social media coverage of Amazon delivery experience.
- Provide strategic communications guidance and support for business initiatives.
- Counsel senior business leaders on communications strategy.
- Work across internal stakeholders to deliver on objectives.
- Write and evolve messaging and talking points.
- Develop and write press release, media pitches, and owned channels content.
- Build and maintain relationships with reporters from top-tier media outlets.
- Prepare forward-looking plans for emerging issues.
- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges, both proactively and reactively
Qualifications
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience- Bachelor's degree

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to drive progress and earn trust while working across multiple teams.
- Experience working directly with media.
- Creative and entrepreneurial thinking.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
