Description
As a Campaign Strategist on the Reputation Marketing and Insights team you will be responsible for developing paid messaging and integrated campaign strategy for reputational campaigns. This will include guiding the overall campaign chorus, across earned, owned and paid channels, to break through with singular narrative and achieve campaign goals. You will work closely with the research team to build on the body of existing insights, and to identify the learning gaps needed to produce a concise guiding insight and the focused message and proof-points that will maximize impact. In addition to insights, you will maintain the pulse on the external environment in which Amazon and its campaigns exist and stay abreast of upcoming developments and announcements being made by the company. The strategy team is responsible for ensuring no tactic is left off the table and that we execute cross-functional campaigns that help achieve results that are more than the sum of each part.The work will challenge you to be resourceful, think big while staying connected to the details, translate research into messaging and strategic direction, and embrace a high degree of change and ambiguity at speed. The scope and scale of what we strive to achieve is immense, but it is also meaningful and energizing. This is an individual contributor role.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify and communicate research needs for development of campaign strategy
• Develop paid campaign messaging and briefs driven by a core insight based on existing, new, cultural, historical data and research
• Work across multiple communications and business stakeholders to develop an integrated marketing plan based on the campaign insights and cross-channel go-to-market brief.
• Bring key stakeholder teams together through execution, ensuring deliverables are aligned to the brief.
• Create and manage substance repository (and associated research insights, approved legal language, etc.)
• Work with research and creative to develop testing protocol to evaluate and optimize campaign content and creative
• Work with research, creative, and partner teams to propose and develop future business actions and campaign substance that elevates Amazon’s reputation

This team sits within the Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCR) organization.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Highly collaborative, engages in active listening, gathers diverse perspecties, and is able to build strong, trusted partnerships across all team members in and out of their immediate group.
- Bachelors, Masters or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
