Description
This role involves diving deep into data, providing data analysis, uncovering issues, supporting core Business Operations activities, prototyping and deploying new solutions using advanced technologies including GenAI, LLM, and robotic process automation.This role is focused on Business Operations supporting the growth of the Pre-Owned Business and Trade-in.
Key job responsibilities
- Act as a trusted operations expert to the different functions within Pre-Owned, this role act as a problem solver and advisor to operational activities within the broader team.
- Drive incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovative customer operations needs in pre-owned.
- Help drive focus on prioritization, project management, and acting as a operations excellence subject matter expert.
- Drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers.
- Support the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various improvements to the business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.
- Support the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.
- Work directly with the models/data. Work with data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them.
- Advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with teams in sales, marketing, business intelligence, customer service, vendor management, compliance and in-stock management.
- Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems
- You will operate both strategically and tactically: thinking big to drive new opportunities, diving deep in data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Amazon devices, take strong ownership of the business, and be comfortable executing and giving feedback on new playbooks to maximize sales growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
