If yes, we need you in the Private Label business.The Amazon Private Brands team is looking for a customer-obsessed Product Manager - Business Management.
The Business Manager's primary responsibility is to build and grow the allocated category on the Hardlines Private Brands team. Chartered with defining the category strategy that meets HPB business objectives, they must be adept at coalescing inputs such as customer feedback, market data, competitive landscape, and overall brand positioning. They own the category P&L and work directly with the Physical Product Development team to set the vision, objective and priorities for product development roadmaps. The Business Manager is also responsible for defining positioning, messaging, target audiences, commercialization, and lifecycle marketing strategies for a product, existing or new. This role works closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail to deliver business initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
Primary deliverables of this role include but not limited to:
路 Category strategy ownership and multi-year roadmap
路 Consumer insights, competitive landscape, and need/gap analysis
路 P&L ownership
路 New product ramp and performance
路 Business reviews
路 Product Lifecycle Management
The Business Manager will own their category, and work as an intermediary between customer-facing teams and stakeholders across the business. This role is the visionary, defining the Whys and How's of a successful business, as well as the market lead, delivering what consumers need at the right time. We are looking for individuals that are analytical and strategic, with an understanding how to effectively sell products online.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience- Experience performing financial or other quantitative analyses
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
- Bachelor's Degree
Extended Qualifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
