The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, and intensely detail-oriented with a strong customer focus and perspective to drive strategy in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
This role will partner closely with business teams to understand their data needs and ensure they are able to answer hard questions with real data. This individual will participate in business reviews and new initiatives. They should be able to identify and help close gaps in the information available, as well as predict upcoming data needs when participating in discussions about new products or features.
Key job responsibilities
- Collect data and perform advanced modeling and statistical analysis
- Map, document, and recommend process improvements
- Support business development and help create efficient designs and solution processes
- Determine efficient utilization of resources
- Actively engage with internal partners throughout the organization to meet and exceed customer service levels and transport-related KPIs
- Research and implement cost reduction opportunities
- Support the continued development of the business's data infrastructure
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, and follow-up skills
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Operate in an ambiguous environment with minimal guidance or supervision

Qualifications
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience- 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
- 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
- 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Extended Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Knowledge of analysis of algorithms and computational complexity
- Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
