Our team measure and evaluate the employee life cycle by using data to design compensation strategies for ops employees. Key job responsibilities

As an Amazon Business Intelligence Engineer, you will solve unique and complex problems at a rapid pace, utilizing the latest technologies to create solutions that are highly scalable. The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about data and analytics. He/she is able to Identify feature gaps and/or planning process inefficiencies within the organization, gather data and user requirements, and translate those needs into model enhancements and/or new Anaplan model implementations. He/she is an expert with data modeling, ETL design and business intelligence tools and passionately partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities where improvements in data infrastructure creates out-sized business impact. He/she is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast-paced and global team. Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Statistics/Engineering or 4+ years of relevant experience one of the following areas: Data engineering, business intelligence or business analytics.

- 4+ years of experience working with cross functional teams.

- At least 2+ years of relevant experience as an Anaplan model developer

- At least 1+ end-to-end Anaplan system implementation (requirements gathering, design, build/test, deploy, support)

- L1, L2, and L3 Anaplan Model Building Certified

- Advanced experience in SQL

- Advanced expertise in Excel

- Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.



Extended Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems and related field and 5+ years industry experience.

- Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.

- Advanced experience with Business Intelligence Visualization tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, Quicksight, etc.

- Master Anaplanner or Anaplan Solutions Architect Certification

- Experience with programming tools (Python, R, etc.) to create custom applications based upon analytical needs.

- Familiar with HR, Finance or people-related data · Experience with Machine Learning Techniques to Understand Data Patterns and Make Predictions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
