Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) Strategic Sourcing Systems (OSS) at Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join our Inbound Visibility, Signals and Orchestration (VISION) team. As a BIE in this role, you will be a key contributor to enhancing the Inbound efficiency and accurate predictions of our supply chain sourcing inbound operations through business intelligence. Our current focus is on improving overall visibility that Amazon has into incoming inbound freight through improving signal quality as well as signal aggregation. This allows us to orchestrate inbound freight through the supply chain, and improve overall inbound lead times. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven insights that optimize inbound signals, scheduling, and overall supply chain performance.About the team

Qualifications
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Extended Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
