Description
The Global Logistics Exports organization enables customers across the world to access international selection that is sold in other countries. To do so, we manage the global cross-border supply chain, operating the largest Amazon cross-country network spanning +1k lanes and 200 countries. . By incorporating various programs and businesses into our supply chains, we spin the flywheel to reduce costs and improve delivery speeds for all our clients.We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing organization. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of Business Intelligence metrics that drive decision-making across our operations. You will partner with Tech, Operations, and Business teams to define key performance indicators, develop data pipelines, create QuickSuite dashboards, and translate complex data into actionable insights that inform product strategy and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, has strong analytical and technical skills, and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering diagnostic analytics that influence multiple teams' strategic decisions.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, engineers, and operations teams to define, track, and analyze key performance metrics for cross-border supply chain products
- Conduct root cause analysis on business performance issues and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Develop and maintain QuickSuite dashboards that provide visibility into product performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience
- Write complex SQL queries in Redshift to extract and analyze large datasets, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical teams, operations partners, and senior leadership
- Monitor business metrics proactively, flagging risks before they impact customers
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers and Data Engineers to improve data infrastructure
A day in the life
Your day starts by monitoring cross-border supply chain dashboards, identifying performance anomalies across our global network. You'll spend time writing SQL queries in Redshift to investigate root causes, then meet with Product Managers to discuss findings. Afternoons often involve building new QuickSuite visualizations or presenting diagnostic analytics to operations partners. You'll collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data pipelines and document your analytical methodologies for the team.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data
- 5+ years of experience with Excel including pivot tables and advanced functions
Extended Qualifications
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries with large-scale, complex datasets- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
- Experience in Redshift, or experience in any Bigdata architecture
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field
- Master's degree in an analytics field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
