We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who is passionate about data, obsessed with quality, and thrives in solving ambiguous and complex problems. In this role, you will lead the development of a centralized reporting platform backed by a data lakehouse that consolidates WW FBA metrics for executive leaders. This platform will streamline reporting, align definitions, and power global visibility and decision-making.
You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, identify and define key business metrics, and align regional teams on consistent definitions and data sources. You will drive the end-to-end development of both front-end reports and back-end data infrastructure, create and manage milestones aligned to the product roadmap, and build a comprehensive metrics catalog and data dictionary. You will communicate the progress, risks, and strategic impact to senior leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering working closely with BIEs, DEs, BAs, and business stakeholders to build a scalable, intuitive reporting platform.
- Drive global alignment on key performance metrics — harmonizing definitions, dimensions, and data sources across regions and stakeholder groups.
- Define end-to-end requirements for both the front-end (dashboards/visualizations) and back-end (data lakehouse/data infrastructure) components of the platform.
- Partner with Data Engineering to design and scale data pipelines and architecture to support near real-time and batch reporting use cases.
- Translate complex business problems into technical specifications and data models that enable actionable insights.
- Design and maintain robust reporting solutions, including automated dashboards, recurring reports, and self-service tools.
- Define new KPIs and improve existing ones to better track business health and operational performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Managers, Program Managers, Finance, Retail, and regional FBA teams — to support strategic initiatives and deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Conduct deep-dives and exploratory analysis to identify trends, surface opportunities, and influence roadmaps.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level business reviews, providing clear narratives and data-backed recommendations.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or related fields.- 5+ years of experience in SQL and experience working with large-scale data systems.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience defining and managing KPIs and business metrics in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working in or with data engineering teams, and understanding of data lakehouse architecture.- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Redshift, Athena, S3, Glue).
- Experience in e-commerce, supply chain, or fulfillment/logistics domains.
- Track record of driving alignment across cross-functional and global teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
