Description

The Central Recruiting Business Operations Team for AADA Talent Acquisition is looking for a highly strategic and results-driven Business Operations Manager to drive operational excellence, process optimization, and executive-level initiatives. This role will partner closely with VP and Director-level leaders to manage critical business functions, including escalation management, organizational communications, change management, data insights, operational expense management, rhythm of the business, process improvement, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is a strong operator with a track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments. They will influence leadership decisions, drive alignment across key stakeholders, and optimize operational processes to enable recruiting teams to scale effectively.

Key job responsibilities

This role will have direct involvement in the rhythm of the business, including goal-setting and management, business reviews, and operational reporting to ensure leadership has the visibility needed to make informed decisions. They will lead escalation management, resolving challenges efficiently while providing executive stakeholders with insights and recommendations.

The Business Operations Manager will also drive organizational communications, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment across teams, particularly during times of change.

A core focus of this role is process improvement and operational efficiency, identifying gaps and opportunities to enhance how the recruiting team operates their business rhythm. This includes driving data-driven decision-making, collaborating with analytics teams to surface trends, risks, and opportunities. Additionally, this person will oversee operational expense management, ensuring budgets are tracked and optimized.

The Business Operations Manager will also play a critical role in strategic planning, partnering with leadership to set annual priorities, track progress against goals, and implement scalable solutions that support long-term success.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled project and program manager, balancing multiple priorities while driving meaningful impact. Experience with TA systems and tools, Kingpin, Asana, Project management tools, and building wikis are preferred.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership



Extended Qualifications

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
