Description
The Amazon Devices Brand Studio is seeking a Brand Content Strategist to architect and lead content strategies that define the future of how we connect with customers. This role sits at the epicenter of storytelling for some of the world's most innovative brands including Alexa, Echo, Kindle, and Fire TV. You'll be responsible for transforming complex technology narratives into compelling, human-centric stories that resonate across customer touchpoints, while optimizing content operations for maximum efficiency and scale.As our Brand Content Strategist, you'll pioneer strategic frameworks that bridge brand strategy with content execution, ensuring our narratives remain cohesive, engaging, and forward-thinking. You'll design and implement scalable content systems that drive consistency and efficiency across the entire customer journey. You'll have the opportunity to shape how millions of customers experience and interact with our brands through various content formats, from product storytelling to marketing campaigns, digital experiences, and emerging touchpoints, while establishing repeatable processes that enable seamless content adaptation and deployment.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a master storyteller who can navigate the intersection of technology, culture, and human behavior. You'll leverage advanced AI tools and analytics to identify content opportunities and optimize content production workflows, while maintaining the authentic voice that makes our brands distinctive. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help drive innovation in how we communicate our brand stories, ensuring they not only capture attention but drive meaningful customer connections and business results through efficient, scalable content operations. Your expertise in content systems thinking will be crucial in developing frameworks that enable consistent messaging across all touchpoints while reducing redundancy and improving speed-to-market.
Key job responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with brand positioning and drive business objectives
* Lead the creation of strategic narrative frameworks that guide content development across customer touchpoints
* Partner with Brand Strategy, Creative, and Product Line Marketing teams to ensure content authentically reflects brand positioning and resonates with target audiences
* Conduct research and translate insights into actionable content opportunities
* Create and maintain content playbooks and guidelines that ensure consistency across global markets
* Identify opportunities for content optimization and scaling through emerging technologies and AI tools
* Analyze content performance metrics and customer insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI
* Lead cross-functional workshops to align content initiatives with business goals and customer needs
* Partner with technical teams to inform content system requirements and operational improvements
* Establish content governance frameworks and best practices for scale
* Author strategic briefs and creative direction documents that inspire teams and guide execution
* Present strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and conviction
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Demonstrated success in identifying opportunities for content workflow optimization and efficiency improvements
Extended Qualifications
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Master's degree
- Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
- Knowledge of content management systems and digital asset management platforms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
