Description
The Selling Partner Communities (SPC) team is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead our BA team and drive data-driven decision making across the organization. Our north star vision is to ensure every selling partner (SP) is satisfied with their experience selling in the Amazon store. We look holistically at the seller experience through the voice of the seller – both in conversations they have directly with Amazon, and each other, to identify opportunities to improve the SP experience.In this role, you'll play a crucial part in translating complex seller feedback and data into actionable insights that drive improvements in the Amazon selling experience. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with technical expertise to transform complex data into business insights that directly impact seller satisfaction and success.
A day in the life
• Lead and develop a high-performing Business Analytics team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in service of our selling partners
• Partner with Product, Science & Tech teams and key stakeholders to identify strategic priorities and implement effective BI solutions that enhance the seller experience
• Design and implement data infrastructure and reporting frameworks that ensure data quality and accessibility, with a focus on capturing and analyzing seller feedback and behavior
• Establish processes for prioritizing and allocating team bandwidth to maximize impact on seller satisfaction and business growth
• Mentor team members and create development paths to grow their capabilities and advance their careers
• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge BI tools and technologies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness in analyzing seller data and feedback
• Transform complex business requirements into clear analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations to improve the selling partner experience
• Build scalable solutions that automate processes and improve organizational efficiency in managing and analyzing seller data
Qualifications
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
Extended Qualifications
- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
