We're seeking dynamic Sourcing Recruiter Interns to transform how we connect with exceptional candidates. In this role, you'll be the critical link between top talent and our organization, crafting personalized outreach strategies through phone, email, and text that inspire passive candidates to explore exciting career opportunities.

This role focuses on high-volume passive candidate sourcing and engagement. Successful sourcers excel at proactive candidate identification, building relationships with professionals who aren't actively seeking new opportunities. You must be able to manage, prioritize, and fulfill multiple job searches against timelines while setting benchmarks, tracking metrics, and achieving SLAs.

The best candidates will draw on knowledge of talent acquisition and tech roles, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at passive candidate generation and engagement, client/account management, and strong organizational skills.

Critical skills include:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to engage passive candidates

• Ability to prioritize time across multiple sourcing campaigns

• Demonstrated sense of urgency in candidate outreach and follow-up

• Understanding of the value of providing amazing customer service to both candidates and hiring teams

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive passive candidate sourcing strategies which include extensive phone, email and text-based outreach

• Build and maintain an extensive network of potential candidates through personalized, strategic outreach

• Track and analyze sourcing metrics to continuously improve engagement approaches

• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR partners to understand specific talent needs

• Create compelling candidate profiles that highlight unique skills and potential contributions

• Manage high-volume candidate pipelines and achieve customer goals

• Thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment

A day in the life

Your day will be a blend of strategic communication and relationship building. You'll leverage multiple communication platforms to identify and engage potential candidates, creating meaningful connections that go beyond traditional recruiting approaches. You'll craft compelling narratives that showcase our organization's unique value proposition, turning passive interest into active engagement.



Qualifications

- Are 18 years of age or older

- Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship between May through September

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Business, Communications, Marketing or similar with a graduation conferral date between December 2026 and June 2027



Extended Qualifications

- Experience working in a sales role

- Work, internship, or other leadership experience in a professional environment

- Strong academic, leadership and/ or extracurricular record

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $24.47/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $52.40/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
