Description
The Protective Services, Workplace Incident Management (WIM) Team is searching for an Area WIM Manager to join the team. In this role, you will oversee incident response for the Pacific Northwest area within the Americas (AMER) Region. This position is an individual contributor and will report to the Regional WIM Manager, AMER Region.The Area WIM Manager, PNW is responsible for the day-to-day management of workplace incidents involving persons exhibiting inappropriate, abusive, or threatening behavior. To accomplish this, the Area WIM Manager will lead multi-disciplinary teams comprised of cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal), and security parnters (e.g., site security, intelligence analysts) to assess the concerning behavior, develop effective action plans, and implement the appropriate protective measures to resolve the concern while appropriately supporting persons involved. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM), Investigations, Incident Management, Security Operations, or Law Enforcement.

Key job responsibilities
• Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal), and security partners (site security, intelligence analysts).
• Serve as the key liaison for global, regional and local security teams.
• Perform comprehensive threat assessments or investigations into workplace incidents involving internal or external persons exhibiting inappropriate, abusive, or threatening behavior.
• Organize, prioritize and investigate multiple incidents concurrently, as part of a caseload, with overlapping deadlines and changing priorities.
• Conduct interviews of impacted employees, witnesses and/or persons of interest utilizing interviewing techniques.
• Analyze CCTV video, access control systems and other data collection capabilities, in response to incidents in order to identify behaviors, root causes, locations, potential evidence, and/or person(s) involved.
• Use Micrsoft and Adobe products to include a cloud-based case management system for documentation of threat assessment or investigation.
• Deliver detailed, well-organized, factual and timely investigative information, reports, assessments, and presentations for internal customers and stakeholders related to workplace incidents.
• Document, report, and appropriately escalate risks, threats or issues to internal or external stakeholders and law enforcement agencies, as required by applicable laws.

The Protective Services, Workplace Incident Management Team is a global threat management team responsible for assessing and managing internal and external incidents involving persons exhibiting inappropriate, abusive, and threatening behavior. The team partners with Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, and diverse Security Parnters to manage the workplace incidents.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Criminology, Social Work, Human Resources, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.• 6+ years of experience in either Threat Management, Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Incident Management or a related field.
Extended Qualifications
• Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Criminology, Social Work, Human Resources, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.• 8+ years of experience in either Threat Management, Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Incident Management or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $67,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
