Description
As a Business Intelligence Engineer Intern at Amazon Robotics, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Working within our dynamic team, you'll leverage SQL, data visualization tools, and programming skills to develop and maintain analytics solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in full-lifecycle analytics projects, from gathering requirements and data analysis to dashboard development and documentation. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with strong business acumen, demonstrating both independence in execution and effectiveness in cross-functional collaboration. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in data analytics while contributing to meaningful projects that impact Amazon Robotics' operations.Key job responsibilities
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis
• Create comprehensive technical documentation
• Support data quality initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions
• Contribute to process improvements
• Present findings to various stakeholder groups
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical field.- Able to work Full-time (40 hour/week) for the Summer of 2025
- SQL proficiency with demonstrated ability to write complex queries
- Experience with data visualization tools (particularly Tableau)
- Programming experience in Python or R
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Extended Qualifications
- Previous internship/project experience in data analytics- Experience with AWS services
- Knowledge of ETL processes
- Statistical analysis experience
- Version control (Git) experience
- Understanding of Agile methodologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $35.63/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $79.62/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
