This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Industries Team as a Sr. Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist focused on GenAI within the Telco and Retail/Consumer Goods space.This role is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and most strategic customers in the Telco, Retail and Consumer Goods segment. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to- market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. ASP teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. Position may require the ability to travel 25% to 40% of the time, as needed.
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.
2. Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.
3. Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.
4. Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
5. Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
6. Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums,etc.

A day in the life Within ASP, this position is a part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team, where you will drive the execution of the GTM strategy for AWS’ GenAI and AI/ML services for Global Telco, Retail & Consumer Goods industries.

Qualifications
- cloud certification like AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate- 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
- 2+ years experience solving business problems with AI/ML technology
Extended Qualifications
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients- Experience establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across organizations
- Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners or equivalent
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
- Experience guiding customers with AI use cases in the Retail and Telco Industries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
