The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Administrative Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are seeking an exceptionally talented, dependable, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to work under the direct supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Selling Partner Experience.This is a great opportunity to join a stellar administrative team, with a variety of responsibilities for you to grow and further your professional career. The role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and self-motivation. Must have the ability to communicate well, manage multiple assignments and people simultaneously, and maintain professionalism in dealing with managers and executives. Must also have experience planning, organizing, and supporting large meeting and events.
Key job responsibilities
• Order and maintain office supply levels.
• Complete and file expense reports.
• Plan and execute logistics for meetings and events of various sizes.
• Create and maintain team organization charts.
• Manage space planning.
• Provide back-up support for complex executive calendars.
• Coordinate travel and create detailed itineraries
• Collaborate closely with departmental Executive Assistant (EA) peers.
• Suggest process improvements to make the team more effective.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional or military experience- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
- 1 year experience planning, organizing, and supporting large meetings and events
Extended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience with end-to-end project management
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $39,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $84,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
