As a Sr. Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving service adoption, usage growth and market penetration in Coupang. The ideal candidate will possess account management, in-depth technical background and English communication capability that enables to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a account coverage plan, acquire and develop new workload, and consistently deliver on quarterly business goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive service usage growth and market share in Coupang territory.

• Meet or exceed quarterly business goals.

• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.

• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

• Accelerate customer adoption.

• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.

• Manage and support customer interactions

• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

• Ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.



Qualifications

- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

- Proven IT/consulting sales track record.

- BA/BS degree required. Masters or MBA a plus.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills.

- Fluent in English & Native in Korean.



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience

- Experience developing detailed go to market plans

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
