We are growing our Sales team to help more companies make the move to AWS, and achieve their business outcomes. If you are passionate about the cloud and have the skills, the Cloud Sales Representative (CSR) role provides the opportunity to introduce the most relevant cloud solutions from the leading cloud company, to new and existing ISV customers.

Key job responsibilities

The CSC ISV Account Manager is responsible for teaming with all aspects of an Emerging and/or Mid-Market ISVs' organization. This includes C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales. Skills required to build relationships across an account include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all ISV customer's needs. The Account Manager is responsible for selling at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The Account Manager works collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for the customer in harmony with what the AWS business needs. In addition to new service adoption and new line of business development, this role includes dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

A day in the life

The Cloud Sales Center ISV Account Manager is responsible for managing ISV (Independent Software Vendor) customers to drive cloud adoption and growth within their respective accounts. They involve building relationships, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with AWS teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will apply their sales and technical experience to proactively engage with customers to harness the power of cloud technology to meet the customer's business objectives. A successful candidate will generate and maintain active engagements with customers and prospects, as well as consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experience

- Knowledge of existing and developing technologies

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software



Extended Qualifications

* Ability to prospect, identify, pursue, and close new revenue opportunities Strong technical, sales, and listening skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment

* Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; understand and identify opportunities for customers

* Track record of managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams

* Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred), and web-based meeting applications (e.g. Chime)

* AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate Certification, preferred but not required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
