Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Account-Based Marketing Manager. This role is a strategic leadership position responsible for building, managing, and scaling a high-performing team of ABM professionals while driving enterprise-scale account-based marketing initiatives across multiple territories/regions. This role combines deep ABM expertise with people leadership, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on team development capabilities. This role supports AWS's strategic growth within the Financial Services Industry, including banking, insurance, capital markets, fintech, and payments sectors. The ABM Team Lead will develop deep expertise in FSI-specific challenges, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation priorities.

Key job responsibilities

People Management & Leadership

~Build and Lead Team: Hire, develop, and manage a team of 4-8 ABM managers and specialists across territories/regions

~Performance Management: Set individual and team performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

~Career Development: Create individual development plans, provide mentorship, and support career progression for direct reports

~Team Capacity Building: Design and implement structured onboarding programs, training curricula, and capability development initiatives

~Culture & Engagement: Foster a collaborative, data-driven team culture that emphasizes customer obsession and innovation

~Resource Allocation: Manage team workload distribution, prioritize initiatives, and ensure appropriate staffing levels

~Escalation Management: Serve as escalation point for complex stakeholder issues and cross-functional challenges

Strategic ABM Program Leadership

~Develop ABM Strategy: Scale comprehensive ABM frameworks and best practices across multiple territories/regions

~Program Architecture: Design multi-channel programs leveraging the full AWS marketing toolkit (events, content, executive engagement)

~Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives requiring collaboration across sales, field marketing, and partner teams

~Innovation & Best Practices: Evangelize ABM methodologies across the organization and drive continuous improvement

~Executive Engagement: Partner with senior sales leadership to align ABM strategies with business priorities and account plans

Data-Driven Execution & Optimization

~Performance Analytics: Establish measurement frameworks and track program performance using data to optimize approaches

~Budget Management: Manage ABM budget allocation across team and programs

~ROI Demonstration: Analyze and report on pipeline generation, revenue influence, and program effectiveness to senior leadership

~Market Intelligence: Leverage customer data, buying signals, and market trends to inform strategy and prioritization

Qualifications

- 3+ years of people management experience

- 10+ years of professional marketing experience with demonstrated B2B marketing success

- 5+ years of strategic ABM program leadership experience at enterprise scale

- Proven track record building and scaling marketing programs that drive measurable business outcomes

- Experience with data analytics, performance measurement, and ROI demonstration



Extended Qualifications

- MBA

- Experience presenting to SVP and C-Level

- Experience in cloud computing, enterprise software, or technology industries

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
