Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) is an internet marketplace that provides access to an on-demand, scalable workforce to complete jobs that humans can do better than computers. Common use cases include image recognition, audio transcription, machine learning algorithm training, sentiment analysis, data normalization, and surveys. At any given time, there are hundreds of thousands of jobs (called Human Intelligence Tasks, or “HITs”) available in the system. We operate as a startup within AWS, providing great flexibility in product and technology direction. As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for driving the success of MTurk with customers as they consider how to best bring their use of MTurk to fruition. In this role you will be marketing the full platform of MTurk, for a diverse audience of developers, IT professionals, technical decision makers, business owners, and executives across industries. The right candidate will have successful experience in marketing to developers,
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, technology investment banking, management consulting, or product management · A Bachelors degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science· MBA and/or computer science, engineering, technology background is preferred · Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content · A bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (product videos, web content) · Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology
