JOB DESCRIPTION The AWS Hardware Engineering team is driving rapid innovation in the server and storage infrastructure used by Amazon Web Services. Our designs are fundamentally changing the data center, providing operational and financial benefits that are critical to the success of the AWS business and its millions of customers. Our Software Engineers solve challenging technology problems, and take big bets on new concepts, enabling AWS services to continue to revolutionize the industry. We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to drive the validation of storage infrastructure solutions that will support AWS world scale compute and storage systems. The ideal candidate for this role will be an innovative self-starter seasoned in developing and executing test scripting and automation to validate storage hardware platforms. You will collaborate with internal and external development engineers (architecture, hardware, validation, software services). AWS Engineers
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent · 3+ years' experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash etc.) · Hands-on experience with Linux kernel and user space software development.· Experience developing test automation scripts and tools for validation of server, storage, and/or SSD-based systems. · Hands-on experience with build and release management tools and automation. · Operational experience with storage, networking, and large-scale distributed systems. · Understanding of storage system architecture and design. · Hands on validation experience with one or more of
