Key responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities: The Senior EPMS Application Engineer will be responsible for hardware configuration, communication setup and testing of EPMS for additions to electrical power systems in MS datacenters. Projects include addition of new hardware within existing/new facilities, containerized datacenters and other datacenter modifications. Create new or update existing EPMS software configuration, database, graphics, alarming and notification for the new devices. Design drawings, device lists and IP lists are provided by the EPMS design team, which will detail the
Knowledge, experience and skills: The ideal candidate will be an instrumentation and controls engineer with leadership experience in electrical power monitoring systems for Data Centers. A team player able to work in a multi-disciplined engineering team implementing EPMS in Microsoft Data Centers globally and possess the skills to work in a fast-paced multi-project environment. Ideal candidate is knowledgeable in the network topologies and communication protocols associated with EPMS systems and related networks and has a firm understanding of electrical power distribution and monitoring requirements
