Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support global field event programs which target IT professionals. In this role you will manage the creation and distribution of tools and resources that global field marketing teams use to plan and execute their events. Your daily responsibilities include collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to create the components which comprise our global event programs. You will also provide on-going management of the programs once they are in-market. You will utilize exceptional project management skills as well as your experience in creating and managing global event programs to ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver high quality results. The ideal candidate will have a track record of running successful events, and have excellent project management and interpersonal communication skills. In addition you will provide operational support to the Partner and Field Event Team as needed
• Degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study • 6-8 years of event/project management/marketing experience · Experience in designing and managing event programs · Experience in working with global teams · Experience in working with field marketing and/or partner marketing • A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility, and proven success delivering measurable event marketing results. • Demonstrated success in project management • Ability to work independently and autonomously • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention
