The goal of the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (CFPA) team is to provide key insights that help Microsoft make better financial and business decisions. Our team is at the hub of Microsoft's financial activities, being a key strategic partner to all sides of the business and serving a diverse set of stakeholders: CFOs, Senior Leadership Team, engineering groups, and sales and marketing teams. The Financial Data Management (FDM) team within CFPA is looking for a highly motivated Finance Manager who has excellent organizational skills, a passion for governance and a strong interest in the mechanics of Microsoft's financial data structures. The FDM team acts as the center of excellence for Microsoft Finance establishing governance frameworks, providing best practices, developing training resources and conducting deep analysis on financial data and data structure issues. The team partners closely with representatives across the organization to strengthen Microsoft Finance's experience

The primary functions for this role will center on master data governance. You will become a SME in this space which is foundational to understanding P and L reporting across the company. You will drive and evolve the process framework, manage central governance, and actively participate in finance communication and education to provide clarity and compliance. You will work closely with all FDM governed processes to gain a well-rounded knowledge of the other hierarchy, master data and financial reporting processes of the Company. You will be exposed to large projects with multiple stakeholders
Bachelor's Degree in business, or finance related focus and 3+ years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Business Analysis Experience with Data Management, Data Governance, Integrity, Mapping, and/or Structuring preferred Acute organizational skills to manage high volumes of data, stakeholders and partner/business needs Strong communication skills both verbal and written Highly motivated with a passion for details, controls, and discovery Experienced multi-tasker with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
