Marketing Management team Modern Desktop Product
The Modern Desktop Product Marketing Management team is looking for an experienced marketing leader to build and execute product and marketing plans for Windows commercial. This job requires working across a variety of engineering leaders, in deep partnership with customers, field sales, PR, business planning and other product marketing teams across Microsoft. Windows commercial is a multi-billion dollar business growing double digits. Windows 10 continues to gain traction in the enterprise as the most secure and productive operating system, with more than half of our commercial device install base now on Windows 10. As a Director of Windows Commercial Product Marketing, you will be directly responsible for Windows commercial inbound product marketing, including deployment, security and management as well as a variety of exciting new Windows services such as Windows Defender ATP, Windows Analytics, Windows Virtual Desktop, and Microsoft Managed Desktop. Key accountabilities: • Drive Windows commercial product roadmap, in partnership with engineering teams • Deliver on Windows revenue and modern desktop deployment targets, in partnership with modern desktop marketing team • Ensure Windows is loved by commercial users and IT, in partnership with sales and partners • Recruit and develop a high performing team of marketers
• Proven strategy skills to drive product decisions and investment at the CVP level with references/examples • Track record of influence with CVP level engineers and GMs with references/examples • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal • Experience developing marketing plans across audiences with references/examples • Excellent people management capabilities to attract, grow and retain top talent • Strong cross-group collaboration skills to work across Microsoft • 10+ years technology product management, product marketing or management consulting • BA/BS
