The Enterprise Commercial Industry team provides industry strategy and execution leadership for Microsoft's largest customers. Our mission is to lead enterprise customers on their secure, digital transformation. The Media and Communications industry team is seeking a seasoned Business Manager who will work closely with the industry GM to realize that mission. The individual is the trusted partner and advisor to the industry leadership, a dynamic self-starter, passionate about driving outstanding operation excellence, consistently representing the industry team, achieving collaborative results across internal team members and key stakeholders across the company and with abilities to articulate in executive context in written and verbal formats

Key Responsibilities: • Drive strategic planning process for the Media and Communication industry • Develop and drive consistent budget management program in partnership with finance team • Ensure success of GM meetings, speaking engagements, field visits and customer interactions • Partner with Enterprise Commercial office to develop and execute a consistent strategy and communication plan • Support and drive effective vendor contract management • Facilitate and support external customer and partner engagements at internal and external events
Qualification: • Proven business management capability with a minimum of 10+ years of sales, marketing or operations experience • Demonstrated outstanding analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills • Proven effectiveness driving complex multi-stakeholder processes, driving cross-team programs to desired results and manage risk. • Be a self-starter who does not require continual feedback and direction and can be proactive by understanding the needs of the business. • Strong oral and written synthetization communication skills • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership on
