Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Teams, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. To achieve this goal, the CSME Program Management Office team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for engineers with a dedicated passion for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure.

Drive and facilitate the execution of the programs from concept to tape out, power-on to launch, and connecting all the dependencies and moving parts together Drive strategic and execution responsibilities across the program: including Landing Zone adherence, feasibility, schedule, resource, quality and cost aspects across organizational and program boundaries Ensure the successful implementation of Program Objectives. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Proficient background and understanding of Computer Architecture, CPU/SoC design, verification, validation and product engineering principles as part of CPU, SoC and/or IP development teams.Proficient interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross group/functional teams with a high degree of independence and success.Other Requirements:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).Demonstrated technical and business acumen with the ability to synthesize data of cross-functional inputs/dependencies and proven capabilities delivering to project/program management fundamentals across multiple products life cycles Leadership skills and the ability to build diverse teams Proficient skills in all aspects of planning, cross-group collaboration, resource orchestration, communications, analytical capabilities and attention to detail Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
