Within Azure Data, the business intelligence team builds and maintains Power BI which is the undisputed leader in BI tool in the industry today and serves as the bridge between data professionals & Office users. Power BI’s core value proposition is to enable end users to get answers & insights from their data through data visualization. The Core AI team is responsible for the AI-powered creation experiences within Power BI, enabling users to build reports, visuals, and insights faster and more intuitively. We work at the intersection of AI innovation and business intelligence, embedding intelligent capabilities directly into the authoring experience to help users of all skill levels get more from their data.

Responsibilities
Defines and drives the product vision and roadmap for AI-powered creation experiences in Power BI, aligning with broader team and organizational goals.Partners closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver intelligent authoring features that are intuitive, reliable, and impactful at scale.Deeply understands customer needs through research, telemetry, and direct engagement, translating insights into well-defined product requirements.Works across Microsoft teams to ensure AI capabilities integrate cohesively into the Power BI experience and broader Fabric ecosystem.Uses data and experimentation to evaluate feature success, iterate quickly, and make informed prioritization decisions.Communicates product strategy and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from engineering partners to senior leadership.

Product Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,400 - $168,100 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $111,100 - $183,700 per year.
