Want to be part of a fun and exciting team that’s working with the latest tech? The Sumerian team is the newly launched AWS service and toolset to create and publish Web 3D, AR and VR experiences. The team uses cutting edge technology, means of communication and the latest tools to improve our engineer’s quality of office life. A Sumerian Technical Content Creator owns the team’s media content and keeps it current, relevant and available by coordinating its development, approval and release with the appropriate stakeholders. Working closely with the marketing team, they analyze usage metrics to develop and maintain a content strategy that continually meets our customer needs. They work with engineers and artists to comprehend complex product features and make them both accessible and understandable to the general public through written tutorials, articles and video content. They are proficient at the technologies required to produce, edit, and publish Sumerian training and educational content
· Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or 6 yrs. relevant work experience in technical industry · 3+ years of technical content development experience · Familiarity with Agile development process and tools · Proficient in video editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, or Camtasia) · Understand basics of distributed systems · Game engine and/or 3D Creation software (Blender, Maya, Unity, UE4, Lumberyard) · JavaScript fundamentals · A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly · Experience designing and delivering training solutions to large organizations · Knowledge and/or
