We support the internal studios and 1 st Party Publishing teams within Microsoft Studios, including games like State of Decay, Age of Empires, Gears of War, Halo, Forza, among many others. You'll work directly with other quality engineers, producers, developers, designers, content creators, and everyone else that comes together to create incredible entertainment experiences.
As a Senior Software Engineer Lead , you will lead your team to deliver a quality strategy to meet partner expectations and drive for a high quality customer experience. You will lead the team to develop a strong data framework and automation suite that empowers effective product assessment in pre-release and post-release environments on multiple platforms. You will also provide actionable reports to help ensure that all partners have the information needed to make project decisions. You will collaborate with Production Leads and Community Managers as you use close to real time coverage results
BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience A firm understanding of testing methodologies and software quality assurance 4+ years of hands-on software development/testing experience with solid coding skills in C# and/or C++ Strong initiative, willingness to learn quickly to become a domain expert Proven experience developing solutions that impact multiple products Experience with agile or scrum development practices A passion for mentoring and growing junior Software Engineer team members Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills Optionally, the candidate
