The Studios Quality team at Microsoft is looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Lead with a history in, and a real passion for, software quality that wants to make a big impact on the future of the Minecraft Franchise. Ideally, you'll have a background in driving quality into game features and processes, influenced by telemetry and data science principles. You're a veteran in the field with a quality-first mindset, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate and collaborate across a variety of disciplines to meet the needs of our players. You've also a skill and passion for growing and developing people, and helping others to do their best work. As we continue to evolve our support for the games and studios of tomorrow, we'll use telemetry and data to scale more effectively, build quality into the
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 8+ years in software quality (preferably games or entertainment) 4+ years leading teams and projects Self-directed, take initiative to drive issues to conclusion regardless of organizational structure and team boundaries Ability and flexibility to work effectively on a worldwide team spanning multiple time zones Strong interpersonal skills and a love for collaboration Customer-first and data-centric mindset Experience with enterprise services and telemetry systems
