You will lead SDEs on the S3 Deletions team doing asynchronous data processing at massive scale. You will also take a leading role in defining the next generation of Lifecycle policy management for the S3 platform. In this role you will: · Set the high-level vision and long-term direction for your team. · Manage the software delivery for the S3 Lifecycle Deletions team. · Meet with key customers to understand requirements. · Develop workflow pipelines for asynchronous data processing at scale. · Manage prioritization between customers features and operational experience. · Coach employees, building a strong and self-sustaining organization. · Report on status of development, operations and system performance. · 5+ years of professional experience in software development · 3+ years of experience managing a development team. · BS/BA degree in a technical field.· Prior experience with agile methodologies and a fast-paced environment. · Strong focus on customers and operational excellence. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities. · Design and develop state-of-the-art approaches to solving complex and ambiguous problems. · You are comfortable creating and driving a product roadmap. · Proficient in distributed systems and software
