Amazon FreeTime brings the Echo Dot Kids Edition, which introduces a new Alexa experience that kids love and parents trust. This kids' experience is made richer with the addition of FreeTime Unlimited content which allows kids to access hundreds of age-appropriate songs, skills and Audible titles. Do you want to be part of the team that is building this Alexa experience which unlocks new voice driven capabilities across a wide range of devices to handle kids' device settings, parental controls, and exploration and discovery of available and appropriate content? You will be responsible for owning and driving large-scale customer-facing features from inception to delivery and beyond. You will have an opportunity to learn and grow in a highly collaborative team while designing, architecting and building innovative software in the Alexa ecosystem. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field · 7+ years of software development engineering experience · 7+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles · 7+ years of experience with CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis · 7+ years of experience in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++ or C# · 4+ years of people management experience · Experience building and shipping highly scalable software products· Experience delivering web services in a large scale environment with high availability
