Who we are: Agile, technically fearless and working on a scale that is unprecedented. That is the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Networking team. We are working on the forefront of the rapidly evolving landscape of software-defined networking. Our goal is to build and re-engineer the virtual networking control plane to be highly operable, manageable and programmable to delight our customers. Many of the problems we are solving are at a scale and complexity that is unprecedented. · MS in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of industry experience or BS in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of industry experience · Proven object-oriented design and implementation skills (Java/C# and/or C++) · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Deep understanding of distributed systems, designing for fault tolerant systems, data structures and algorithms · Software development lifecycle and understanding of operations lifecycle · Passion for great customer experience and quality · Ability to take raw product requirements and create software architectures
