It’s still day one for cloud computing at Amazon Web Services (AWS). We provide developers and their organizations with the building blocks necessary for designing highly robust and scalable web services that help them innovate faster and operate their infrastructure in a cost-effective manner. These services range from structured storage, content delivery to on-demand compute capacity and more. The AWS Identity and Access team is building next generation security primitives that support all AWS offerings like S3, EC2, and DynamoDB. We are innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management, federation, web services security, single sign on, and much more. AWS IAM Intelligence team uses cutting edge technology to process and mine through hundreds of terabytes of data per day. The team’s mission is to mine access insights and create products and features that help AWS customers improve their security posture without having to be security
· 8+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems with service oriented architectures · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent in relevant work experience · Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. · Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals. · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects ·
