The Amazon Web Services team is innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed systems and delivering the next generation of cloud computing with AWS offerings like Polly, SageMaker, and Rekognition. In 2013, AWS launched 280 services, but in 2016 alone we released nearly 1000. · Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field · Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations · Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project · Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers · Experience developing in AWS · Experience with Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning techniques and technologies
