As a Software Engineer on the Suspicious Activity Monitoring team, you will design and build software to detect and to respond to sellers who may be engaged in illegal activity such as money laundering. You'll utilize advanced machine learning to continuously monitor sellers throughout the world and to automate investigations about their activity. Amazon's scale means that you'll be designing
· 4+ years experience building successful production software systems · A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a Bachelors or Masters of Science in CS or related field) · Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs · Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python· MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field · Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control
