As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Last Mile Technology team, you will be instrumental in helping us create innovative ways to get packages delivered quickly and cost-effectively to the customer. The Last Mile Technology team supports multiple businesses globally, creating the technology that supports deliveries for businesses such as Prime Now, Amazon Flex, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Logistics, and other new initiatives. Our team is seeking Senior Technical Program Managers to launch Last Mile delivery technology into new countries. In this role you will be responsible for 1-2 individual countries. This includes working with our operational partners, tech, and product teams to determine how to support unique use cases per geography, working with on-the-ground teams to launch, and working to ensure each geography has high quality and complete technical solutions. Responsibilities
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience · 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience with related technologies, including managing significant cross-functional projects in mid-size or large companies · 4+ years hands-on experience building software solutions with current web development and service-oriented technologies · 3+ years demonstrated advanced knowledge of business applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Project · 2+ years experience leading development teams to design/architect business software solutions
