The AWS Global Infrastructure Datacenter Security Automation Technology teams design and implement autonomous tools and services that keep both customer and Amazon IP safe. We utilize cutting edge technologies within our software development process, including Python, Ruby, Java and React, all designed to run on top of own AWS services: Fargate, Lambda, S3, Sagemaker, Redshit, GreenGrass. You will have the opportunity to work with the brightest and most creative engineers in the industry as we continue to grow the AWS business to meet the needs of our customers today, tomorrow and beyond. You will be part of a team that builds scalable, distributed, and robust software services to analyze computer vision data to track physical assets
· 5+ years of hands-on software development in any modern object-oriented language: Python/Ruby/Java/C/C++/C# · Strong experience with backend software development · BS in Computer Science, or equivalent · Experience with a scripting language: bash/ruby/python/perl· MS in Computer Science, or equivalent · Experience working with Linux operating systems · Experience with architecting and implementing solutions at scale · Experience with developing complex cloud technologies · Industrial experience with AWS services e.g. Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, S3, Dynamo DB, Fargate · Experience with machine learning
