The AWS Infrastructure Regional Capacity Planning Team is searching for a passionate and talented Sr. Region Planner to lead the infrastructure capacity planning for multiple AWS regions. In this role, you will work across the entire AWS organization to align long range demand for data center capacity and the infrastructure required to meet that demand. You will lead the Sales and Operations Process which establishes the long range plan and collaborate with stakeholder teams to ensure AWS is able to execute and deliver to that plan. We are always looking for ways to Invent and Simplify. In this role, you will also be challenged to continuously improve business processes to achieve better results. This could mean creating brand new KPIs to measure business health, introducing automated tools into manual business processes, or even helping build out new internal products. · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics or Mathematics · 5+ years experience with inventory modeling and supply chain management concepts (e.g., forecasting, planning, optimization) · Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis· MBA Degree · Proven track record of delivering high impact results on global projects · 3+ years of capacity planning experience driving the acquisition of long range capacity · 3+ years of experience in acquisition of data center capacity requiring large CapEx approval · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Perl, Unix/Linux,
