We're looking for an experienced, driven, analytical, and creative Senior Product Manager to drive e-commerce packaging leadership for the Customer Packaging team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and scaling sustainable e-commerce packaging standards and sustainable packaging solutions across all of Amazon. This position requires the ability to think big and execute, creating solutions that scale across the billions of products Amazon sells. To be successful, you will need excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders. We interface with core operations, fulfillment engineering, Amazon Robotics, Finance, procurement and data science to identify
· Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering or chemical/physics field · 5+ years of commercial packaging development experience; preferably with corrugate and foam/cushioning experience. · Exceptional interpersonal and technical communication skills, both written and verbal · Strong stakeholder engagement skills · Strong structured thinking and problem solving ability · Analytical skills: Statistics, Data analysis · Experience managing other technical resources through significant project management.· MS/PHD preferred in Materials
