Team Overview The Retail Globalization Team (RGT) team was created to accelerate Amazon’s international retail expansion. It is still day one, and we continue to expand our team to drive a better customer experience and global best at Amazon practices in expansion marketplaces. RGT boosts new expansion businesses by focusing on selection, hiring, and training. In 2017, we established RGT to support the launch of Australia. In 2018, we have expanded our work to six countries. As part of the International Expansions organization, RGT is a key part of ensuring the strong growth of our global retail business as well as playing an important role in go-forward country expansion. The Role We are looking for a Senior PM, Vendor Management to join RGT focused on helping both our current and future emerging countries. We are rethinking our approach to new countries and need a strong owner/communicator to drive these efforts. This role is rife with ambiguity, and we are looking for someone who can
· Bachelor's degree · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to drive consensus among stakeholders · Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and problem solve · 3+ years experience in a retail vendor management role · Flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time if necessary· MBA or Master’s Degree · 5+ years experience in a retail vendor management role · Demonstrated track record of training and developing new teams and people, both directly and indirectly · Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get things done · Ability to effectively
