Amazon Logistics is looking for a passionate and talented Sr. Program Manager to manage new programs supporting on road delivery operations. This role will be responsible for creating, improving and implementing programs supporting driver hiring and training. They will develop scalable process improvements building the national infrastructure for Amazon’s delivery operations across the country. This role will effectively move between strategy and execution on a daily basis as we iterate and innovate the driver hiring and training process. The role will influence and drive various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization and possess a high level or autonomy and integrity while managing a variety of priorities. The candidate will have a talent and passion for building new programs and processes within the company along with a relentless desire to exceed customers’ expectations while optimizing the overall cost-per-delivery model. · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field from an accredited university or 4+ years Amazon experience · 2+ years of experience analyzing cost/benefit of proposed projects · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including use of lookups and pivot tables· MBA and work experience in technical field is highly desired · Prior experience or use of Lean/Six Sigma · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Perl, Unix/Linux, Visual Basic or other programming languages are a plus · Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
