Amazon is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new best in class consumer product. As a Senior Manager, Operations you will be responsible to apply a customer obsessed mindset to ensure various parts of our operation are managed effectively, consistently, and efficiently. As our product is in it’s infancy, everyone is required to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of planning, execution, analysis, and improvement strategy for your functional areas. Currently, the functional areas include
· Bachelor’s Degree · 7+ years of work experience in an operating role · 3+ years of leadership experience leading teams of 100+ individuals · 2+ years of P and L ownership that required you to dynamically understand and change inputs/outputs to drive results or mitigate risk · 2+ years of experience using database/BI reporting tools and collaborative productivity tools to manage communications and drive decisions · Experience in a service-based business · Experience implementing and leveraging technology to improve processes · Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
