We are looking for a unique individual for a very special position on our Compass team, which is a high-touch product development/R and D partnership with a number of strategic Microsoft customers around the world. This role is unique as it combines customer/relationship management and engagement, program management and research. As a senior Compass researcher, you will help us grow and run our customer-centric R and D program. You'll work directly with a set of global customers and facilitate deep engagement between IT, leadership and end users (both knowledge workers and firstline workers). You'll drive a regular cadence of engagement to ensure that Microsoft gets maximum R and D value from our relationship with the company and ensure that customer needs are well understood.
The projects you'll work on will include helping us identify and onboard new customers, pitching the program (internally and externally), helping us scale to support more of E and D through more efficient processes, Planning and executing our events that feature roadmap discussions, customer roundtables and extensive customer co-design sprints coordinating engagement projects and research for our team and partners diving some key, horizontal research projects yourself.
Skills and qualifications Experience working directly with customers is a must Confident, capable and persuasive presentation of ideas and executive presence (envision yourself presenting to execs at the customer and at Microsoft) Great at synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into salient and compelling go dos for our product teams Outstanding project management, able to work fast on multiple, challenging and ambiguous assignments (help plan the customer event in Paris while executing a pilot study for a new mobile app with a customer in Texas) Research aptitude with an ability to develop
