North America Supply Chain Operations (NASCO) is seeking a highly motivated individual with analytical skills and project management experience to join our Inbound Operations and Technology (IOT) Execution team. In this position you will be responsible for managing programs which improve the flow of materials and information from Amazon’s vendors into our Fulfillment Centers to other downstream systems. As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will play an integral part in Amazon’s inventory management by successfully partnering with various internal teams such as Warehouse Operations, IT, Retail and Finance as well as external suppliers to support new business initiatives. This position will also require that you have the experience and flexibility to work with cross functional teams in a matrix organization. Qualified candidates demonstrate a strong technical skill set, taking a data-driven approach to solve complex logistics problems across our inbound supply chain servicing our vendors,
· Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field and/or 2+ years of Amazon experience · 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management concepts i.e. forecasting, planning, optimization and logistics · 4+ years of qualitative/quantitative data analysis related to Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, Logistics or Inventory Management · Project Management experience · Proficient in Excel and SQL · Prior experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques · MBA or Master’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics · 2+ years managing small
