Azure Core Security Services is looking for an experienced, driven Principal Software Engineer/Architect with a proven ability to bring ideas from concept to implementation and a strong security background. The right candidate will be working with broad scope in ensuring that Azure has a secure computational foundation, that both internally and externally this secure foundation can be trusted and attested to, thus enabling internal and external customer trust in that their payloads only execute on properly configured hosts. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of software development experience in a product group. Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of software development experience in a product group. Strong design and development experience that includes development in C++/C/C#, preferably with distributed programming models. Passion in building and designing very large-scale systems; prior experience in building large scale online systems is a big plus. Strong design and development experience, preferably with distributed programming models. Successful track record of having delivered cloud computing and virtualization-based
